As you noticed recently, I did some maintenance work on my DB and now my provider does not allow me to rebuild thumbnails citing reasons like overuse of memory, etc.. All bullshit... Anyway you shifted to k2.. that is a really nice theme, I am just waiting for the v1.0 to come out before I make the switch. In the meantime, Mistylook (my current theme) by Sadish Bala is the theme for me. Coming back to the topic: There are 2 ways to add things to your sidebar: 1). The hard way - by editing the sidebar.php file 2). The easy way - by installing sidebar widget plugin and then point and drag widget ready plugins over the sidebar...
