Dear sir/ Madam, (I don’t know who are you)

This is to tell you that I will be not available online for the next 3 days. As I am going to the silicon valley of India. See the irony of the life when I am at a small town in south Karnataka I am online more than 9 hours a day. But when I am at the Silicon Valley I am not able to come online. So I request you to allow me to meet you there. Please bring you post and comments written during this period, I will tell you the pass you my comments than and there. I have given my contact number at the bottom of the letter. Do call me up. For those who want to meet please be ready to spend some bucks. (Nah I wont ask you to have lunch or dinner with me) It’s for the nuisance I will make after I get drunk.

I am coming down to celebrate my friends Happy Birthday to You. Which was on 11th July. For those who want to wish my friend many many happy returns of the day, can send me cash to my mail id and gift description to Bank account. I will buy and make sure that my friend gets the gifts, I am not sure when but he will surely get it.

Till than do remember me!!

Loving,

Height of Pain

Saturday 13th April 2007

Time

7:30Am – Alarm is blaring on its peak to wake me up.

8:05Am – Mobile rings. Colleague “Where the F*<# are you? you are one of the events coordinators”

8.15Am – same guy “WTF where is the FU<#!^& bus we hired. we were to leave for office at 8.00.” Some more apologies. buddy its Saturday and we are going to office cant you keep quiet for a moment..

8:30Am – Leave for office. Have breakfast. People are getting fidgety.

9 .00Am – Board the bus to go for the Picnic @ a local waterfall cum trekking destination

Ahh ha.. we were on our way to the picnic. what a nice idea to have a picnic away from the clatter of the keyboards and noise of the meeting rooms. That includes some walking some trekking and loads of fun.

We reached a small stream at about 11:15 and the driver refused to go beyond that stream. the 40 odd of us started our walking from the same point. 1 hour and 3 Km later. we see a Bus standing out of no where. Just to find that the bus actually left us to walk to a hefty 3 km. half of us were already half dead and with all the water bottles empty Death seemed inevitable. It was than the pain in our legs started to creep up. a slow soothing pain which was not to go so easily and there was a mountain towering in front of us to be climbed. (The real trekking starts from here). It was another hour and half before we were actually on top of that small mountain to reach the falls.

suddenly one of us said the following lineख

picture-2.png

We swam and played a lot but when it time came everyone was ready to take another dip in the pool and drown but not to go back.. The trip tot he small mountain would pain so much we never knew. It was a pain int he ass for me to get every back to the bus. (Pain in the ass because i slipped at the falls and landed on a rock. the ass is still aching from the fall the trip)

The Trip

P.S.-> Its been more than 10 days since last message as i was on most outside than on my comp. Here the detail.

Last weekend i was in Bangalore. Some people who meet me there asked me “how come you are in Bangalore?” I told them its been a long time so have come down for a Peg or two. 🙄 The main reason was that i had to get my final year marks card from my college. which as my friends told me will be given only to me and no one else. Now the question arises what i have actually done there. WELL, I had a enjoyed some heartily parties in some of the posh restaurants of Bangalore(if restaurants were not posh by looks than cost-wise they are surely posh). Had quite a few pegs and for those who don’t know they look really cute on my wall. I have just put them on the wall and yet to put cloths on those pegs.

I had a nice 3 days long weekend. But the trips continued. they were many. some necessary some not. some gave relief some not. most ached some not. Just for the readers info, I am a guy who loves to roam, never confined to one place. thats why i was always standing outside my class more than inside. This time i hated those trips to the Loo, due to loose motions. 😥
(For those who are still thinking about the marks card. I am also thinking the same)

Spiced up Indigo

Its great to be back. It was a fun filled weekend and an emotional one too. Though I was a bit stress due to the journey which I had to do literally everyday.

The whole exercise of going home and coming back told me one thing that I shouldn’t travel by flights any more. The reason being that Indigo was delayed by more than 2 hours. But the biggest problem is that they don’t serve anything to eat.

Indigo –> Sells food and beverages, which includes cold drink, cookies, packaged juices and some silly chocolate. But mind you nothing here is for eating. I even asked the crew what is do they have for beverages. She looked at me like I am an illiterate and said juice and cold drink. I asked what about Tea, Coffee or U? She told me the Lavatory at the back is empty and third choice is available. At that very moment the safety belt sign was turned on was not switched off till we landed at the airport.

Spice Jet –> They don’t provide anything to eat (except free cookies). When we landed at Hyderabad I even asked them if they can get anything from outside. The hostess looked at me like I am the world’s biggest runaway criminal and I committed have world’s biggest crime by asking her to get me something to eat from outside. She gave a glare and said “Its not in our policy to get food from outside. It will be security breach.”

Let me tell you the itinerary.
My 6 days long journey started on 1st of March,

Day 1 – Come to office and ask for a leave. Work for half day than leave for the railway station. Board the train at 4:30Pm for Mumbai. (Its a 14 hours long journey from Udupi to Mumbai). I know that luck plays a big part when it comes to me. (Mostly it’s my bad luck). I did my reservation for an AC 3 tier sleeper coach but thanks to Lalu ji and his seat upgradation scheme. My seat was upgraded to ac 2-tier sleeper. Great Na!! But when I saw that my co passengers were Uncles and aunty of more than age of 60. (My old seat had a bunch of Manipal gals traveling :(.)

Day 2 – Arrival Bombay @ 11.30 (4 hours delay). My 2:30 flight of indigo delayed by 2 hours. Reached Calcutta at 7. Took a train to Bihar at 8.40

Day 3 – Arrive at Pirpainti (My native. A small village in Bihar) @ 6.30 in the morning. Reach home and sleep a little more. Did nothing great, except playing cricket with my jiju, uncle’s kids and my bro. and at night Holika Dahan.

Day 4 – My face was full of colors much before I woke up. Played holi with after a gap of 9 years. Slept the whole day. Took a train for Calcutta

Day 5 – Took a spice jet flight to Bangalore @ 2.15. Reached Bangalore @ 6. Called up all my frens and meet them. Took a bus @9.35 for Udupi

Day 6 – back at Udupi @ 6AM
